The short version
VC firms publish their team pages and portfolio lists on the open web. Most of the time, nobody notices when those pages change. We do. We regularly check these pages, compare what we find to the previous version, and publish a structured record of every difference. The whole thing is free.
Under the hood
We regularly collect data from public VC firm websites. A comparison process lines up the latest version against the previous one, identifies what moved, and writes it into a timeline. No manual data entry. No crowdsourcing. Just public information, organized.
How to read our data
All data on BeaconStoneVC is derived from various public sources. When we report that someone is "now listed" at a firm, it means they were found in our latest data check. "No longer listed" means they were not found in the most recent check. These observations may not reflect the exact timing of employment changes.
Aggregate labels like "Hires" and "Departures" are shorthand for new and removed listings — they describe detected changes, not confirmed employment events.
Coverage
Right now: 59 funds watched, 5,064 companies in their portfolios, 1,516 people on their team pages.
Heaviest coverage in the UK, continental Europe, and Southeast Asia. New firms get added regularly.

Data is refreshed regularly. Last pipeline run: April 15, 2026.
